HPMport plan your sea, dry and river terminal according to your individual requirements and jointly developed needs.
Layout planning
HPMport develop the right solutions for your container terminal from any initial situation, whether it is a project on a “greenfield” site or the extension of an existing facility. We support our clients in layout planning, choosing the appropriate technology as well as determining the right level of automation. The basis for the planning and the selection of systems are the refined requirements from the master plan. If necessary, we also use planning-support tools such as 3D-visualisation and simulation in order to develop the optimum layout.
Specification for container handling equipment
Fundamental decisions concerning technology and handling systems are made in the master plan. We create catalogues of requirements as well as specifications for all terminal components and container handling equipment. Choice of the right technology and choice between standardised and tailor-made systems is made in dependence of the operational concept. In the specification phase, the requirements for performance, efficiency, maintainability, integration and operation are developed and taken into consideration.
Tendering & contracting
We coordinate the entire tendering and contracting process for our clients, from the selection of tenderers and the prequalification, the assessment and evaluation of the placed bids and the technical specifications of container handling equipment, to the clarification of discrepancies between bid and specification as well as negotiations with suppliers. Our goal is to find the supplier with the best relation between requirement coverage, quality and price.
Implementation & acceptance
HPMport manage and accompany the realisation of transshipment facilities. We coordinate suppliers of terminal components and container handling equipment as well as interfaces of suppliers and ensure the implementation in accordance with the agreed function and quality up to the on-time completion and acceptance of the terminals.
Workshop planning & Maintenance concepts
For the efficient and long-term operation of terminals of all sizes, an on-site workshop for the maintenance and repair of container handling equipment is essential.
Together with you or your service partners, HPMport determine the requirements and the suitable layout for an efficient workshop operation. We develop maintenance concepts and plan workshops and service functions, ranging from the location of the workshop to the required equipment. These include suitable storage systems for material and spare parts, as well as supporting systems for the fleet and spare parts management.
